This privacy statement applies to Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation (CNCF) and its fund-raising arm, Lunch for Life, with respect to the privacy of our online members, visitors, and donors.

CNCF does not collect personally identifiable information without your permission. However, our website links to numerous other websites, and CNCF cannot control, nor can we be responsible, for the content, practices, or privacy policies of those websites.

This site collects contact information when you register for membership, donate money, or purchase items from CNCF or Lunch for Life.  In these cases, we need personal information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card number or banking information, so that we can process your donation or order, notify you of your order status or receipt, and/or contact you if there are any problems in processing your transaction.  We may use the information you provide to share information about services or products you have requested or to inform you of scheduled events, promotions, contests, and updates that might be of interest.

CNCF periodically performs analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure usage of various areas on our websites.  We use this statistical information to improve our ability to serve you better, and make adjustments to areas of the sites, based on usage statistics and behavior.  Personally identifiable information collected in these surveys will not be shared with anyone outside of CNCF or Lunch for Life. 

We may use cookies to store visitor preferences, alert visitors to new areas of the site, customize Web page content based on visitor interests, and record past activity in order to provide better service.  Cookies are small text files that do not damage a visitor's system or files.  Most browsers will allow a user to accept or deny cookies.  If a visitor rejects our cookies they may still use our site.  CNCF may also use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the website, track user movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

Our website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control.  Our Web servers are located in a locked private cabinet in a secure hosting facility.  Our server is encrypted with GeoTrust to protect credit card and other information submitted via forms on this site.

To protect the privacy of website visitors, names and addresses submitted through the CNCF or Lunch for Life websites are not included in any list exchanges or rentals.  CNCF does not specifically ask or knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18.
