Our Story

Emma Lindsay Johnson was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in May 2006, shortly after she turned 3.  She was found to have a grapefruit sized tumor in her abdomen, with evidence of disease in the lymph nodes of her neck and chest, the bones of her skull and left arm, and her bone marrow.  Faced with a 30% chance of survival, we were completely devastated by the news.  Emma endured 6 rounds of chemotherapy, surgery to remove the primary tumor, stem cell transplant, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and more.

We are so pleased that she has been in remission since February 2007.  We live each day to the fullest.  We know the future, although full of hope, is uncertain with this miserable disease.

Thank you
