Our Story
Welcome to our Lunch for Life site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about our loved one.
My Story is the introduction to our Lunch for Life site.
Be sure to read the latest in the journal, view the photo gallery, and drop us a line in the guestbook.
Thank you
Emma was diagnosed at 3 months old with Neuroblastoma Stage-III High Risk (due to n-myc amplification). At the time she was diagnosed she had one large tumor that extended from her neck down into her chest. She went through 6 courses of chemotherapy and one stem cell transplant and then 6 sessions of radiation. After that she took an oral medicaation, accutane for 6 months.
Emma has been cancer free since September of 2004!!!!
She is now three years old and she is our pride and joy. She is our little miracle and we thank God for every day we spend with her.
We are sure that without the focused research that went into finding the correct treatment for Emma we would not have our little girl today. Thanks you for your generosity to this cause! It makes a big difference to families like us!
