LUNCH FOR LIFE – E-MAIL/LETTER CAMPAIGN
Who do you know that might give up lunch for kids with neuroblastoma?
Kick off your Lunch for Life campaign with an email/letter campaign.
Step 1: Make a list of everyone you know that could give up one day’s
lunch money. Make sure to include each person’s mailing address or e-mail address on your list.
Step 2: Write a personal letter/e-mail to each person on your list asking them to donate just $5-10 to Lunch for Life – enough for one day’s lunch – in honor/memory of your favorite neuroblastoma patient. In the letter, provide instructions for making donations:
- Online at www.lunchforlife.org by credit card, debit card or electronic check.
- By calling 1-866-671-2623.
- By sending a check or money order to:
- Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation
- P.O. Box 6635
- Bloomingdale, IL 60108
In your letter or e-mail, make sure to tell your friends and family that CNCF is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Their donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Then provide them with the CNCF tax ID number: 36-4370725.
Step 3: Mail your letters and send your e-mails.
Step 4: Track the progress of your fundraising effort online. Send thank you notes to each person who gives a donation.
